- Only water based EEC & FDA approved paints and temporary tattoos that have been tested for being safe on skin will be used. They can easily be removed with mild soap and water or baby wipes. The Paintbrush’s Dream will not be held responsible in the unlikely event of a reaction. A skin test is available if sensitivity is in doubt. Temporary tattoos can be removed with baby oil.
- A clean sponge will be used for every child to prevent danger of any cross infection.
- For health and safety reasons, no child will be able to have their face painted if there are any signs of illness, infectious skin conditions, cold sores, conjunctivitis or open sores.
- In the unlikely event of an accident, The Paintbrush’s Dream has Public Liability Insurance of £2m.
- The Paintbrush’s Dream will only paint children who are old enough to understand what is happening and are willing to participate. I reserve the right to refuse to paint any child that really cannot be still for the time required, If a child is a 'wriggler' it can be unsafe to attempt to paint anywhere near their eyes. They may be offered the alternative of having their arm painted, many prefer this as they can see it too!
- Adults are more than welcome to join in with the fun and be painted too.
- The Paintbrush’s Dream will not paint anything offensive, obscene or inappropriate for the event or group.
- Please be aware that some of the paints can stain fabric.
